We believe in the sanctity of life - our amazing God has given us life as a precious gift. Every life is to be cherished from conception to death.
We promote and strengthen family life and believe that healthy families based on the solid foundation of marriage create the best environment for every soul to be appreciated and loved.
We seek to have a culture of love and care in our fellowship. As God's people we are called to care for and speak out on behalf of the weak and the vulnerable.
Abortion
This is a sensitive topic and we are compassionate towards those who have had an abortion and assist to bring healing to their lives.

A Culture of Death or a Culture of Life
Unfortunately, our culture at large does not place the same value on life - especially the life of the unborn.
Because of this "culture of death" we have a need to speak out for the unborn.
The reality of abortion should be exposed and our governments should influenced to legislate for the protection of life.
Every Child is Wanted
We also believe that every child is wanted and that the 18,000 or so babies that are aborted every year in NZ is a national disgrace.
There are better alternatives than abortion. Even if a mother cannot keep her child with the assistance that is available, adoption is a life-giving option.
The Beginning of Life
Life starts at conception. From the time a child is a single cell, all the genetic information to bring a unique individual to maturity is contained in that one cell!
For this reason, though we believe that people have responsibility to work with God in the planning and management of their family, we are concerned about contraceptive methods that are abortive in their effect.
Contraception and Abortion
Every method of "contraception" that allows conception but then terminates a pregnancy works in an abortive way.
An effective way of bringing this truth home is starting from the first day after birth and counting backwards - would you kill a child 1 day after birth?
1 day before? 1 week before? 1 month? 2 months?...
Sadly, one way the birth control pill works is also abortive.

Birth Technologies
In our modern world, fertility treaments and IVF have enabled struggling parents to successfully have children.
Unfortunately, these treatments usually create moral and ethical problems.
Fertility drugs cause increased ovulation and often result in multiple conceptions and selective abortions.
IVF usually results in multiple fertilisations which result in selective destruction or indefinite storage of embryos which will never be used.
It is estimated there are 400,000 embryos in storage in the US alone. What becomes of these?
