Ministry of Worship
To Glorify God is our highest calling. Every aspect of our lives should be an act of worship that brings glory to God.
However, His assembled Church as the temple of the Holy Spirit is also called to bring their praise and worship as an offering to God.
The Father is seeking people to worship him in Spirit and in truth according to the due order of Scripture.
This is part of the church's ministry as "the Tabernacle of David" which God is rebuilding today.
We are come to Mt Zion which in both Heaven and in Earth Scripture paints as a place of lavish praise and adoration of our creator and redeemer.
Ministry of the Word
God has exalted His word above His name.(Ps 138:2) By the Word of the Lord God the heavens were made and the earth created.
By the Word of the Lord, God redeems His people from sin, washes them from sin, transforms, sanctifies and glorifies them!
The teaching and preaching of Scripture is a high priority at HCF.
Ministry of Evangelism
HCF has a heart to seek and save the lost.
We see our meetings as primarily to glorify God and edify His people.
The Scripture teaches us to GO and preach the gospel and make disciples.
Though HCF engages in corporate outreach our emphasis is on encouraging and training the believer to make evangelism part of his or her life.
In a day of much confusion and compromise this involves
the clear clarion call of declaring the Biblical Gospel that sinners may hear it and saints may
proclaim it. HCF stands in defence of the Gospel of Christ.
Ministry to families
How can we teach men to be men and women be women and raise our children and youth to be godly men and women if we do not strengthen and support the family
in which these roles are imparted and lived out? At HCF, we have become increasingly aware how much the church has been shaped by the culture of our society
and not by the Word of God. We need to reclaim the culture of the Kingdom. HCF also has had a growing emphasis on supporting families who home-educate their
children in harmony with their Scriptural responsibilities.
